I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo android 4.4.2 with Firefox 68 . I'm able to create shortcuts to websites on the desktop using the typical way ... 3 dots, page, create shortcut . This phone is old and I'm going to give it up . I bought a new Xiaomi Pocophone F1 with Android v.8.1 . I installed Firefox v.68 . I tried to create a shortcut using the same way and a message appeared telling me the app had no enough permissions . I gave all the permissions to Firefox, even automatic start, and of course, the ability ro create shortcuts . I turn off and on the phone . I tried again to create the shortcut inside Firefox, ... the display of Firefox dissapears ( that is normal ) and the desktop appears, but no shortcut to the visited web site has been created . I come back to Firefox ( I have the icon in the bottom, just beside phone, sms, apps box ) and I can see the same web site . Of course, I tried different web sites . I have no add-on installed . I have 8 screens in my desktop and I have left space enough in each one for creating the shortcut . I tried with the native internet browser of the phone, but this one hasn's the feature of creating shortcuts . I have not tried with Chrome ( always installed inside Android ) because I don't want to accpet all those terms but I have checked its permissions and really it has less permissions than Firefox ( I gave it all possible permissions ) . Any suggestion ? .

Gracias .

Gracias .
