Since updating to version 80 Firefox no longer connects through my socks 5 proxy and I cannot find a way to set the proxy settings. Typing about:config in the address bar produces the error message "Cannot Complete Request" etc.

Hi

If you are looking for about:config, I recomend that you try the Nightly version, available from the Google Play store.

Well, access to about:config would be fine, but if Mozilla decided normal users do not need/want it, that's fine. However, _how_ are normal users expected to use a proxy? Does Firefox use some global Android setting (do somebody know where I can change it?)? Are proxy servers a relic of the past and "nobody" uses them anymore? (Really?) Or what?
