I just updated to the latest Thunderbird. I decided to try out the calendar, and I linked it to my two Google calendars. Now every morning since updating, I have a reminder box that more and more reminders from a year ago. Is it possible to configure the Thunderbird Calendar to remind me of meetings and events going forward only?

did you previously use the provider for google calendars addon to access your calendars and used the caldav protocol this time around?

I don't know to be honest. I linked Lightening to my four Google accounts, and now I am getting a thousand reminders. I dismiss all of them, but they keep coming back.
