Sending emails
After 20 years of sending emails with Thunderbird I get this message. "An error occurred while sending mail. "The mail server responded: 5.5.3 Too many restricted recipients.. Please check the message and try again." I have sent emails to these addresses dozens of times with no problem. What changed?

Hello there Keefe. We have read your message. We try to help you.

The default is 60 you may have to lower this break up the amount of messages being sent to this server.
Can you send me the complete error message in text or photo? Thank you.
What versions of Thunderbird do you use?

Hello there again.
When was the last update for thunderbird or pc?
Thunderbird does not limit how many emails you can send. It is just our program software on your computer. However, your email provider can place limitations on number of emails sent via our server. This may be number of emails in any given period eg: per hour or in any 24 hour period. Or perhaps they have a limit on size/bandwidth.
If you are looking for a way of sending a more personalised email to several people you can use 'Mail Merge' addon. This uses the 'To' field and sends one email to each individual email address. You create a template email in Thunderbird, Mail Merge hooks that template up with eg: .csv file to insert personalised data held in Column headers. You can have them send using 'Send Later' option to put them in the 'Outbox' so they can be double checked before sending.
The limit by outgoing is by the Smtp server you use.
Try our mail merge add-on.
If you try to use more mail to several people try mail merge as writen above the add-on from our Thunderbird collection.
