FireFox Reader View Auto-Day/Dark Mode

Is there a way to make Firefox Reader View adapt to or follow system day and dark mode?

For example, if I turn on system Dark Mode on my Mac, Firefox Reader's View automatically changes to Dark Mode as well. And vice versa to light-mode.

Are you using the built-in "System" theme? I think it should adapt to your OS theme. Or is it working for other pages and just not Reader View?

No, just Reader View. Firefox can change themes accordingly, but not its Reader View. For example, I have dark mode on my Mac. Firefox is in dark mode accordingly, BUT its Reader view still shows a light background. It'd be nice for Reader View to show the same behavior.

Okay, it looks like you need to select from the menu because that setting overrides the theme. Unless there is some back door way to manipulate that setting.
