My Google-fu seems to be failing me, but my old Firefox installation was installed using the traditional method and working fine. After upgrading my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I installed the official Microsoft Store version to get rid of the extra Mozilla Updater Service. Firefox now regularly shuts down with no warning—usually when I close the lid or leave my laptop unattended and it goes to sleep or hibernates. I usually discover it has closed when I unlock my laptop. This behavior has survived reboots so I don’t think memory corruption from leaving the laptop on for long periods has got anything to do with it.

I love Firefox and I would love to make the Microsoft Store version work. What can I do to fix it, where can I find crash logs (if they exist), or how to help Mozilla diagnose this issue?
