Thank you, I loged into my on line account to look at my e-mails there. I deleted the oldest e-mail that seemed to be giving me all the trouble (I got multiple copies of this e-mail and no others) and things returned to normal. I now found 65 new e-mails in my Thunderbird Inbox!
