more options

Hi there, I downloaded some free CD burner software, since my installed version did not run. Now I do have this annoying add- on "Abine" which always pops up. I would not mind, bit it stores passwords - that is what I do not care for, at all. I tried re- install firefox and deleting abine (folder on c- drive), but it is back and alive as before. How can I get rid of it, for good?

Hey there. I work for Abine, so I can help you out. PrivacySuite is a browser add-on, so to uninstall it, all you have to do is this:

  • In Firefox, go to Firefox --> Preferences --> General, and hit "Manage Add-Ons" on the bottom of the page
  • Click on the "Extensions" tab on the left
  • You'll see Abine listed. Click the "Remove" button.

That should do it. Sorry you didn't like the add-on!
