there is really nothing else. I closed all of my bars and all I can see is my tab line and I cannot redisplay any of the bars, address, etc. The only reason I coul even get to this site was that I had not closed the tab from the last update.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Hit the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark.
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

Thank you very much for your prompt assistance. This is the first time in all the years I have been using Firefox I have had to ask a question and it is nice to know there are people so quick to assist. It was such a simple fix.
