I just upgraded to Firefox 4. I noticed for example when you fill out a form that requires your name address and city, Firefox 4 will not auto fill for me once I type the first letter into the name field.

But my previous version of Firefox did this and it was a great feature.

I checked under my privacy settings and it shows that browsing history and form data will be remembered, but it does not work.

Anyone got any idea?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

What's going on with FF? It used to be such a good browser. Now I'm having so many problems since the last update & it won't let me switch back to IE either. Really unhappy and looks like I will have to take my PC to the shop to get it uninstalled, which is a major hassle.
