It is really not a big deal, but I love the save passwords feature for Firefox, but for one website it used to work, but then it saved the wrong password, and then I deleted it from the password list, but now it never asks me to save my password. How do I get that service back or how do i save the password for that site again?

I have seen that happen a few times over the years I have been using Firefox.

Saved Password Editor extension allows you to edit existing passwords and add new ones manually.

I assume there is no way around this without installing an add-on?

Make sure that there aren't any empty entries visible in the Password Manager

It is also possible that website is using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

So...when I went into saved passwords, it had the site with no user name and the correct password. I removed it from the list...thinking that it would next time ask me to save the information when I reentered the user name and password...no luck!
