That can happen if you use Clear Recent History to clear the cookies.

Nope. Well, I'm sure you're right, but not in this case. I have not cleared any cookies. In fact, I have not done much of anything with FFox except browse the web lately - no clearing of cookies, other history elements, etc.

Any other suggestions?
