The 'Title' bar keeps changing colour. I don't particularly mind this except that one of the colours is green and I detest this colour!

Is there any way of changing this behavior?

Hello,

I've taken a screenshot of my title bar in Firefox (Windows 7) and marked it with an arrow below. I think this is what is changing colour on your machine?

In Windows 8 the colour of title bars in all applications is determined by the Operating System not Firefox. This varies depending on your operating system's theme but by default it is a kind of 'average' colour sampled from your background. This replaces the semitransparent Aero look from Windows 7.

So the detestable colour green is most likely sampled from your desktop background image. To get rid of it the best bet is to change your background.

If you want to override Windows' settings you could try a Firefox theme:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/

Or you can edit the colour of the title bar with code in userChrome.css

I hope this helps.

eddyc,

Thanks. That'll be it. The desktop theme/wallpaper (whatever) I've chosen is the 'scenic' one. So, if I want that I'll have to put up with the occasional green title bar.

Thanks once again.
