Running FireFox 38.0.5 on a MacBook OSX 10.6.8

After using the escape key to exit full screen mode, the buttons are gone. I have duplicated this event a number of times.

There was a mac security update that fixed this issue in the Mac forums, please make sure that there are no outstanding updates on your operating system. Please also make sure that there are no extensions or customized options that have changed this:
