Will changing from my browser on our personal computer to Mozilla Firefox browser get rid of the information already in my computer?
I only need to change to Firefox browser in order to input a payment plan to pay for my daughters fall semester 2015 at college. It is easier to pay for the semester in 3 payments instead of one. However when I put the information into the payment plan I want to use at my daughters college, my computer would not accept it. I was told by " Higher One" the name of the company I would use to institute a payment plan that I should switch to Mozilla Firefox browser. I am willing to do so , but I don't want to lose any information that has already been put into the computer . Please e-mail me back and let me know whether or not I should switch to the Firefox browser. Thank you so much, Joy Schimmel

Hi, using Firefox won't change anything saved on your computer, or anything you have saved on another browser, such as bookmarks or history, and you can keep it as an alternative to your existing browser for use whenever you wish - you might even prefer it!
If you need to download Firefox, only do it from mozilla.org since from other download sources it can come bundled with unwanted junk.
If you need to import bookmarks from another browser, please see Import data from another browser.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
