Disappearing emails
I have NO idea what's going on, but suddenly (in the last 2-3 days) some of my "Sent" emails are disappearing. They're nowhere: not in Trash, not in Archives...they're simply gone! I've done a Folder Repair, but that doesn't help. I use Gmail and Thunderbird with my primary account, and also have a separate email account for my personal website ("jane@janedoe.com")--the problem is happening with both accounts. I've not changed any settings at all; I have a PC using Windows 10. HELP!!

You'd need to be a little more specific about that.
Do you have a backup of your lost messages?

I'd already read this posting before I posted my question, and made sure all my settings were correct and that I'd done all the troubleshooting steps. Nothing changes.
Should have mentioned that about 2 weeks ago, I started getting messages about "over quota" on some folders (which has never happen in all the years I've used Thunderbird)...yet those folders were nowhere near the quota! Don't know if this is related or not...

I think the problem is solved...did some investigating in my Account Settings, and found that somehow in my "Copies and Folders," the check-mark on my "Place a Copy In" had disappeared, so no copy was being retained! Don't know why or how it happened, as I hadn't made any changes to those settings...but now my Sent messages are once again being saved.
Also just went through my Inboxes and Sent boxes, and cleaned out a bunch of old ones...plus found where I could change my quota on my server.
Thanks for the help!
