when using " system restore" a popup appears with a heading UNINSALLMONITOR.EXE-SYSTEM ERROR with other statements below the box.
Additionally, in the dropbox, under the heading above appears a circled red X followed by the words THE PROGRAM ( I assume "system restore " program ) CANNOT START BECAUSE rtl120.bpl IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER. TRY INSTALLING THE PROGRAM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. An OK option at the lower right of the dropdown. Sometimes the restore program works fine, but other times it fails and this dropbox appears with another indicating that my computer was not set to an earlier date. I have no idea how to install the subject program required . Please help assuming that I am somewhat computer illiterate. BOB

Hi, this doesn't seem to be a Firefox question, however to point you in the right direction. It looks as if you have UninstallMonitor by IObit Information Technology on your computer, and that is 'the program that cannot start.' So you will maybe need to look at its settings or disable/uninstall/reinstall it.
System Restore is a very useful tool to use in an emergency, but it can cause problems with some programs - including Firefox, so use it sparingly!
