My adobe flash crashes constantly on every site when it's needed. I tried everything in the article about the crashes but it doesn't help.

Ok, what prior Flash version will work so I can use Firefox & play games on Facebook, & watch videos on sites. It crashes whenever I try to use the flash content. Not on YouTube, though, since it is using HTML, I think. Yeah, sorry for repeating, but I cannot watch any flash content with Firefox, it seems.

Many users have had problems with the latest flash player. Adobe is working on it.

Other users have installed other software or reverted to a prior flash.

I also have this problem. I cannot figure out how to keep Adobe Flash from continually crashing. I submit crash reports, reload, have the current up to date version, and still keeps crashing in Foxfire. I have to go to Google Chrome and Adobe Flash no longer crashes. Why does it keep crashing on Foxfire?

I just purchased a new computer with W/10 pre-loaded @ factory. I have used & loved Firefox over EVERY other browser for several years & made it my default browser, quite superior to Microsoft's new 'Edge". However, one thing keeps consistently happening - Adobe Flash crashes EVERY time a web-page that requires it is opened. I have been through all available trouble-shooting offered by Mozilla & Adobe, but nothing remedies this. Numerous times I have checked the 'submit crash report' tab, but never get any feedback or remedy from that. Re-loading the page makes the alert disappear, but flash functions on the page are still limited. Is W/10 too advanced for the flash player to know what to do? HELP!

I think the problem lies with Firefox possibly going too fast with their updates. In the past, long time ago, these crashes were directly Adobe's fault, but as of FF48+ it seems to be a recurring issue. I don't have the problem with Chrome crashing, and would hate to start using it over FF, since Firefox has been my default browser since FF 3.0.

Hi, there, robsan19,

Well, I don't know if they're trying to advance too fast, but, I WISH THEY'D FIX IT(sorry, don't mean to yell).

The thing is, with previous versions, when the adobe wasn't working, I could revert to an earlier version, then, when the, say, instead of 47, which was messing up, 48 came out, things would be good with 48. I don't remember what version it started being really bad with, possibly 48, but, like you, I am a diehard Firefox fan!! I don't care for Chrome, although my son loves it.

Well, hope one day it is fixed.

I hope they fix it as well, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Really wish sites would go to html5 and get rid of flash.

Why are solutions posted against the balscarlet replies above? There appear to be no solutions suggested here, but Firefox support keeps telling me that there are! Have I missed something?

Hi, there, mattdeany,

Yes, I know there are really no solutions. The closest I got to a solution is that Firefox needs to fix something in their system, as it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the plug in.

I know there was a version of Firefox where Adobe worked. Too bad I can't remember which one it was.

Yes, frustrating, for sure, but if I need to use Adobe, I use Chrome.

Sorry, that's MY best solution for now.

Take care!

Well, I guess we all agree Adobe Flash is crashing. No doubt. No agreement as to why. Perhaps we ALL agreed in thinking this would be fixed long before now, but ...
