Firefox crashes on various pages. For example, if I go to "eauclaire.craigslist.org", it will open. If I try to go to "Auto Parts" on Craig's List, it crashes. If I go to "Cars for Sale" it opens. If I go to "Motor Cycles for Sale" it crashes. If I go to "www.Westconsincu.org" and attempt to open my personal account, it crashes. If I go to the "Show details" at the bottom of this page, it crashes. This began on 9/24/2016 coincident with the upgrade to version 49.0.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Should this question really be marked as 'Done'?

This looks like the same problem a number of us are having (and is being widely reported on the Linux Mint forum), but I haven't seen a solution...

Thanks for replying, FredMcD, but I'm not the original poster of this thread. I came to it because I have the same problem and was hoping to find an answer (I posted elsewhere, but my thread is currently languishing in the 'Responded' section...).

All I see is a request for more info in the shape of crash logs, nothing to say what happened next. If the OP has submitted them elsewhere and got a real solution feel free to ignore me (but I'd love it if you could include a link so that I can see!).

Piers.
