FireFox continues to block Google Gmail. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled but remains the same.
FireFox will not connect to https://mail.google.com/mail/ because it is not recognizing Google's Gmail servers security certificate (see message below). This issue only occurs with FireFox, which is my preferred browser. I have added the website to the exceptions list under 'Advanced Settings' but that did not work. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox and yet the issue continues. I have confirmed that Google has not configured their mail.google.com website improperly!
Security Message: The owner of mail.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

It may not be any consolation to you but I am able to connect to this site with no issues at all. I am connected to it all day. This would suggest to me that the issue you are having is a local one and not an issue with Firefox. Are you running any security software other than what comes with your Operating System? If so, I would recommend uninstalling that software for the time being to see if that has any affect.
Do you have this same issue using Chrome or Internet Explorer?

What security software do you have?

If the SSL error code is linkified (blue colored) on the error page then please click this button to expand the certificate code and paste this code in a reply. That will allow us to decode the base64 certificate data. If you can open the certificate viewer then please post a screenshot that shows the issuer of the certificate.
