How to download pdf files directly in mozilla firefox?
I have downloaded a file using mozilla firefox, but the file should be downloaded in pdf format. The file is now unable to open. Chrome is downloading the file in pdf directly. How to solve this problem in mozilla firefox?

I'm not quite sure where the problem occurred.
Unless the website instructs Firefox not to open a PDF in a tab, Firefox usually will display the PDF in its built-in viewer. The viewer has a download button along the top that should give you a clean PDF file. If you want to bypass the viewer in all cases, you can change your setting on the Preferences page. This article will get you to that setting so you can download more directly: View PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer.
Sometimes websites do not send a .pdf file extension. You may need to rename a downloaded file with a .pdf file extension in that case (assuming its internal format is PDF).
