I keep marking a particular person's email to me as junk, yet subsequent message keep showing up in my inbox instead of going to my junk folder.
I have marked this person's emails to me as junk on numerous occasions. They go to my junk folder each time I mark them as junk. Then the next email from that person comes into my regular inbox. It has the little flame (junk) icon beside it, but it still goes to my inbox. I have to remark it as junk to get it to move to my junk folder (sometimes I just drag it over since the 're-marking' doesn't seem to work).
And yes, I do have my settings so that all junk mail is supposed to go directly to my junk folder. How can I get Thunderbird to behave properly for this particular email address. It works correctly for most of my other junk email.

The Junk Controls in Thunderbird don't look at the sender, for the simple reason that most junk mail has a spoofed "From:" address.
If you genuinely are getting repeat nuisance mail from a particular sender, set up a filter to deal with it.

Thank you for your quick response. I tried that about a year ago for this sender, but when I checked my filters just now it was no longer there. I don't know if an automatic update deleted the filter or what, but I just tried creating it again. Hopefully it works this time.
The sender is actually an acquaintance who repeatedly send political emails, the address is not spoofed. I just get REALLY sick of it (and yes, I have asked them to take me off their list).
Thank you again for your quick response, hopefully the filter will work now!
