Firefox cannot load my yahoo homepage correctly.
My yahoo is my start page on Firefox. When Firefox loaded today the page was unusable. The content was displayed like window blinds in the upper quadrant of the page. I deleted my cookies, and my cache. No help. When I go to Google Chrome the homepage comes up normally. After closing Chrome and going back to Firefox my homepage loads normally again, but only once. If I go back to my homepage on Firefox within the same session I get the same problem as before. If I go back to Chrome and load My Yahoo home page again and then close Chrome, Firefox will then load My yahoo again normally only to go back to the same problem after leaving My yahoo.

My Yahoo is now working sufficiently for my needs. If I need to get to My Yahoo as before I can always go to Google Chrome. I've tried safe mode in Firefox several times and the minor problems in My Yahoo persist. However, My Yahoo major problems disappeared without any actions on my part. At least I'm not the only one having the problem. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

What if you just go to www.yahoo.com what happens then?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
I did not have to try the solutions suggested as Firefox began loading My Yahoo as before. There are still a few quirks in the My Yahoo page, the page does not load the e-mail messages in abstract. I have to go to my mail to see what new messages I have. Chrome will show my yahoo start page with the e-mail messages in abstract. (I did go to Yahoo.com and tried to migrate to my yahoo that way initially with no luck - same problem.)
I start Firefox in safe mode but this did not change the above described e-mail abstract functionality. I have run into several problems with Firefox loading specific pages before and have researched them on this support page. However, usually the problems disappear after several days so I guess I'll just wait it out.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
I am having the exact same problem. Since I updated to FF 58.0.2, My Yahoo homepage comes up missing the Arts & Entertainment pictures and the add content, themes, edit layout and Yahoo help, when you click on them, nothing happens. My page works perfectly in Google Chrome, but not Firefox. I tried to start it in safe mode, but nothing happened. I re-installed FF but that did nothing either. I followed instructions to refresh Firefox and lost all my data. Had to recover bookmarks that I had backup to my desktop and re-enter user names and passwords again. It was a mess. Still, it is frustrating that I can;t get the page to respond. Also, search from My Yahoo page won't make suggestions until after I click on search. It's all messed up.
betnj Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

Good to hear.
True , they are minor problems and the page works perfectlly in Chrome. But still, it's annoying when what worked before doesn't work now. Maybe one day it will. Thank you all for your responses and suggestions.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

FredMcD , Thank you. And while I appreciate your information and to remove sensitive information( I did) , you could be more brief on lecture and I would have instead appreciated a nicer way of conveying things, and not a condescending tone- Moreover, a possible solution** would have been nice. I already know, Its volunteers here-And I greatly appreciate it, and followed recommendations(Safe mode) with no change. Maybe Mozilla is not supporting yahoos home because I tried it on chrome and it works perfectly-I realize its only volunteers here but it seems to me that if no one here has offered any valid solutions I've been able to be successful with unfortunately-Thank you kindly
I'm having the same issue. It started around 9pm on Tues 4/3. I have Yahoo as my home page, and it will not load correctly in Firefox. Works fine in Chrome, so it's definitely a Firefox issue.
Here's a screenshot of what I see when I try and open the Yahoo home page:

DanNJ316 Load the web page. Then, to reload the page bypassing the cache and force a fresh retrieval; Ctrl+Shift+R (Mac=Command+Shift+R)
beagles11501 In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Thank you!
For me, the problem went away after several days of using the program and ignoring the issue. I assume that the problem was corrected by an update on the browser or a random update from Microsoft. This is not the first time that an issue developed and then continued for a while to be resolved spontaneously. (Either that or I successfully placated the PC gods after a few animal sacrifices - just kidding animal rights groups!!)
The issue appears to have been corrected, the Yahoo home page is loading normally for me once again.
FredMcD, thank you for your reply and assistance.
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
Not that people didn't try, but no help here from the community. Unfortunately there is no answer. This is a Mozilla problem they need to resolve. I turned off my computer very late last night and As of this morning, yahoos home page worked itself out; as of this morning no problem. I believe Mozilla needs to look into this and not just pass it off.I hope they will.

It could have been a problem with the website that was corrected.
I wish. But, no, it was definitely a problem Only in Mozilla Firefox. I and 2 other friends in different parts of the country, had the same problem come up in and on Mozilla. Yet, when we tested Yahoos home page 2 other places ( Internet Explorer and Chrome) search engines it came up perfect-. This was/ and is a Mozilla Firefox problem. Thank you!
