I'm having a problem where certain pages and functions aren't running correction on Firefox. For example, the website 'listenonrepeat' does not load at all. I am unable to sign into google because the next button will not load. Other websites and functions do not work as well. Please help, thank you.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Hi, sometimes security software conflicts with Firefox and these seem to be the ones at times : Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender, ESET & sometimes McAfee.

If none of the above helped or fixed and you have restarted Firefox to make sure please try this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 62.0.0 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I tried all of that, completely uninstalled it, and removed a recent trojan threat, but the problem persists. If it's worth mentioning, opening an incognito window lets me go to/use the web pages that aren't working. Of course, I'd like to not have to use incognito.

Hi, please try Testing in : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Performance > Uncheck to view)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?

Note Video Card Driver Errors :

adapterDescription: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 adapterDescription2: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 driverDate: 9-5-2018 driverDate2: 10-16-2017 I would think by the above dates your running Microsoft Drivers. You can search for Device Manager and check there if it is replacing your drivers.

failures: [u'[GFX1-]: Failed to allocate a surface due to invalid size (DSS) Size(15400,14000)']

As to the above as related to this issue I do not know and do not know which card it is as both are active.
