I would like to listen to music on my android device in one tab & also brouse using other tabs. Currently if I am litening to say Youtube in one tab & open another tab the media stops playing. Is there a way to prevent this happening. Many thanks in advance.

This is caused by YouTube. You can work around their restriction with the Video Background Play Fix extension.
