Firefox can't login to Apple ID, in Chrome it's working perfectly

more options

Hey,

when I try to login into some Apple Service with my Apple ID like icloud.com or appleid.apple.com, I'm either stuck on a loading circle or in case of iCloud after a long time get the error message 'iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server.' I tried Firefox in Save Mode with all Addons disabled, clear my browser history and restart Windows. Nothing worked. In Chrome everything works as expected.

I'm using Firefox Version: 76.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 10 Pro (Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363).

Hope somone can help!

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I already tested all your proposed solutions (remove cookies, cache, disable hardware acceleration and trying the Safe Mode) none solved the problem!

Remove History For One Site

Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any settings.
