Starter showed me that an Update to the flash player was going to be installed with RunOnce at my next reboot. This coincided with an automatic Firefox update. I have just uninstalled Flash player successfully from this Windows 10 machine. Google suggests that this version of the Flashplayer is that one used in Firefox?

1) I thought Flash was going away and I fully understand why. Is Mozilla still supporting or pushing it?

2) There are references on the web concerning an "Adobe Flash Player 32 NPAPI" virus !!

I was able to delete the referenced file associated with the player update as well, but there are many other references to flash still in my registry. I have enough experience to help myself here, but I really would like to know Mozilla's official position on the above Q.

Thanks in Advance, Lyle Allen, Durham NC LyleMAllenIII@gmail.com

We've never pushed any Flash update. This must be only a coincidence.

Firefox is going to finish Flash support in version 85, in about 2 weeks.
