Does disabling automatic updates for Add-ons give a notification when a new update is available?
I'm wondering if disabling the automatic updates for Extensions/Add-ons we get any notification when an update is available, without going in the Settings where the Add-ons are listed.
Will I get any notification or indication while browsing that an Extension/Add-on has a new update, if I disable the automatic updates?

Just from the face of it if you disable it will be disable notification of updates. That's how it should work for all notification if you disable you won't get update notifications.
A new section appears on the left side of the Add-ons page for Available Updates, but you don't get any notifications outside of that, as far as I know.
I think it would be a good idea to add this to the Extensions button at some point.

At least that's something, thank you. Hopefully we're going to get a notification option or an indicator on the extensions at some point.
I have automatic updates for addons turned off, and I get no update notifications.
If these get introduced then I hope they are made optional.
I have two addons I do not wish to update as I prefer the functionality of the older versions. So last thing I would want is to have frequent notifications or their buttons permanently altered, in order to inform me of updates that I do not intend to install.
Some sort of optional 'inform me of updates' option for each individual addon might be best here.
