Hi This is not the first time I am getting this issue. I have among many email accounts from diverse providers 2 Outlook & 1 Hotmail email accounts. For some reason, in the last 2 weeks, Thunderbird stopped automatically logging in, although I have not changed log-in data for any of them. If I try to sign in the provided Thunderbird log in box, it rejects the log in. Even stranger, after running Thunderbird in the background in the last 2 hours, like today, SUDDENLY & without warning, I get alerts of new mail in the Hotmail account. This also happens for the Outlook accounts, which show new mail having come in yesterday and the other day, although as of now, unlike Hotmail, the other 2 have not subsequently logged in yet. I can log in via Firefox into those accounts, but Thunderbird will not, at least at the start of Thunderbird, but at a time later I have no control of? What is this strange behavior affecting only Hotmail & Outlook and how can it be permanently corrected?

Thank you in advance

The most common reason for these issues is obsolete server settings or not using OAuth2 authentication:
