Hello All!

Here's the question: what is the best process for moving all my T-Bird folders (and all the emails in them) to a different email account?

I've also posted below why I think I need to do this...if you can help me with the domain transfer issue then I don't need to move everything in T-Bird to a different email account.

thanks so much! :-)

-Brent

ps here's why: I've had my email on domain X for a couple decades, but I think the ISP where it is registered went out of business as I can not login, nor get any support from them. I've tried moving domain X to a different ISP, but they tell me it is impossible without me being able to login to the old ISP to get the code to authorize the transfer. Hope that makes sense? The best work-around I can think of is moving all my folders and emails to a new email account on a different domain...hence the question above on how to move stuff in T-Bird.

And a huge THANK YOU to everyone for reading this!

Just a curiosity question, what is the domain name. The "registrar" is rarely the tiny business that sold us the domain years ago. You might do ok contacting the registrar of record.. Hence the request for the domain name.

Personally I am against using Thunderbird as a transfer agent for moving mass mail from account to account. The product is getting better at it, but it is not good and data loss is common.
