On sign in, there is a box for usernames. these names are stored, unlike the password. There are several usernames stored by firefox in my computer. How do I remove those names that I no longer use? On Mac and Linux, you need to hold down the Shift key as you press delete. See Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms

I'm not sure why you are using Firefox 3.0.8, but that a very old version, and it is no longer being maintained with security updates. You should upgrade to the latest version. See Update Firefox to the latest release
