Somehow I got a program called "Softonic" loaded into my computer. I went to remove programs and removed it, but the Softonic search and tool bar still came up. I did a search and deleted everything that had "Softonic" in it, but the search and toolbar still come up. I did a Regedit and couldn't find anything with "Softonic" in it. How can I get rid of this hateful program? Frank

Also you might want to try using Malwarebytes scanning your PC in Windows Safe Mode. Sometimes it can detect virus that cannot be detected in Windows Normal Mode.
