I want to add firefox, but it says that it can harm my computer.....I am hesitant about using anything that can harm my computer, as I am sure you can understand....Why would your firefox harm my computer?

That is a standard message that applies to any executable file, it is not aimed at Firefox. It is warning you that you need to make sure you know what you are trying to download.
