I used to have Adobe PDF Plugin for Firefox. I used to be able to open and read pdf files that I found on the web. I can still do so sometimes. The pdf files that I can not open are labeled "(in PDF * format)" from the Wells Fargo online site. The only way I can open these files is by using Safari. Is there plugin I can get which will allow me to open these?

Adobe Reader X and Foxit Reader 5 both rendered a "washed out" almost white page. Removing and reinstalling did not help. Turning off "Office Black 1.6.5" resolved the problem. No idea if the problem is with FF6 or Office Black.

What I found for mine was I am using the Noia 4 1.5.1 theme and that seems to be causing the issue. If I go back to the default theme the PDFs work fine. Going to go post an issue with the Noia folks.

I would suppose it is with FIREFOX 6.0 because I too have that problem and I do not have Office Black.

After some poking around, I came up with a solution that worked for me! (And yes, I had the exact same problem with the Wells Fargo online statements using Firefox 6.0, as well as a few other sites). In the "Add-ons" manager ("Tools" / "Add Ons") choose "Extensions". If you see a PDF Download (mine was version 3.0.0.2) click disable next to it. Restart Firefox. Cross your fingers! It worked for me!
