I can no longer log onto my banks website from this newest version of firefox, I now have to use IE to do so, will thois just be a temporary problem or do I need to downgrade?
I can go to the main page, but once I type in my account number it redirects me to a page that tells me I am using an unsupportable browser. "You are using a browser that may not be compatible with this online service." Is this something that will be fixed?

Try asking the Banks' websites developers to confirm if the Login module of the website is Compatible with Firefox 7.
Check and tell if its working.

These are the only firefox versions that they have listed:
Firefox
Firefox 3.0 Firefox 3.5 Firefox 3.6 Firefox 4.0
If its just for few website, use Mozilla Firefox Portable Edition
Install Firefox Portable 3.6.23 to use at that web site. It won't affect your current version of Firefox at all.
Check and tell if its working.
Thanks, but I have to use IE for some of my work stuff, so I guess I can just use that. Really I will probably just downgrade to make my life easier. I like to have my bank tab open while I pay bills. Thank you for posting replies though. :)
You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.x version to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.
Starting with the release of Firefox 7, the previous versions of Firefox (4.0.x, 5.0.x, 6.0.x) are no longer maintained with Security and Stability updates. Firefox 3.6 is the last previous Firefox version that is still being maintained.
Warning: Firefox 3.6 will only be maintained with security and stability updates for a short period of time.
If you want to Downgrade to Firefox 3.6, download Firefox 3.6 from:
-> Uninstall Firefox from your computer - Uninstall your current Firefox
- DO NOT SELECT TO REMOVE USER DATA AND SETTINGS
- Restart your system
- Use the Downloaded & Saved Firefox 3.6 installer
Check and tell if its working.
