how do i disable firefox auto launch at startup in windows vista?
firefox automatically launches when i start my computer. how do i turn this off?

Try to disable it from msconfig.
read here how to find(if you did not known) system configuration (typing msconfig in search box):

follow the instructions to go to startup tab,
then in startup tab unckeck firefox then click OK to save changes then click restart.

Click the "Start" button then click "All Programs" then right click the "Startup" folder and select open.
There is a firefox shortcut in there, select it, and delete it.
exit firefox and restart the computer.

Thank you for your reply. That was the first thing I tried, but there is no firefox program in this startup menu..... still having the problem and cannot find where it is located to "uncheck"it...
