Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

• Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

• Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Do you see this warning?

• Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

No, that warning shouldn't be checked.

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can also try to login in Private Browsing mode to see if that works.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I also can't signin with my Firefox anymore to my Youtube account. When I go to youtube.com I get the generic start page. When I try to signon or in I click the signin link I'll get the "enter your email and password" page, but when I input my email and password and press Enter I get the same generic start page with the signin link instead of my userid. Then when I click the signin link again I just keep getting the generic start page. However, when I use IE it all works fine.

I tried removing the youtube related cookies and then I removed ALL cookies to no avail.

What is odd it seems as though I'm partially signed in, because when I try to sign in a second time the Sign on page does not display, instead I get the start page again.
