I'm running WinXP Home Edition 32-bit. Just installed it on a new computer with a 6-core AMD processor. Firefox 10 would hang. It runs ok if I set compatibility mode to Windows 2000, but not to any other compatibility mode. I previously had a 4-year-old Celeron 2-core machine, all was ok.

Hi,

You can also try to right-click and Set Affinity to a lower number in the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) Processes tab for firefox.
