I'm sorry you are having problems with Firefox not running as fast as it should. I'd love to help you out here so you can get Firefox running at the ideal speed.
Firefox, try to start Firefox up using Safe Mode. It temporarily disables your extensions, customizations, etc so we can see if they are making firefox slow down. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on.
I also see you have McAfee Site adviser. I'd recommend disabling that, as it is notorious for causing massive memory leaks that slow Firefox down
If Safe Mode doesn't work, you can also try to update your graphics card driver. Reading Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL can show you how to do that.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
See:
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
