My data was lost during set up, there is nothing to sync how do I start over fresh.

I started the process as a new user & just as the data was started to copy my tower lost power for a few seconds. The data came to a stop as if done but nothing was saved. The system went on as if everything was OK. When I tried Sync for my new HP laptop nothing came across. I tried to start over without success. Need help!

No, you only need to setup sync again by creating a new sync account after you've deleted your current sync account to start afresh.
You should be able to re-use the same email as previously.

Hi,

You can try to start over again with the same email address. Please note that the ideal Sync Options would be Recommended:... on the first PC and Replace all data on this computer with my Sync data on the other PCs/laptops.

I tried start over and the system informed me that my email address was already in use and refused to continue with set up.

If you generate a new sync key then your data on the sync server is removed.

I did generate a new key, but did not get the option to re Sync. I read Deleting Your Sync Account & was going to do it. Then a warning came up "This will delete all of your data and you will no longer be able to use Sync! There is no data so that is not a problem. Question? Does "you will no longer be able to use Sync" mean....forever? Or is this the way to start over?
