I have an outdated version of Flash player /plugin as well as the latest version How do I remove the outdated versions ?
since updating FF to version 15 Flash player plug in has crashed and I can only watch videos/ listen to radio prgrammes with IE. I checked FF trouble shooting and I have 2 versions of Flash installed version 9 and version 11. Will uninstalling version 9 solve the problem and how do I do that please ?

You're probably better off using the Adobe Flash uninstaller to get rid of all Flash files, and then re-install the latest version.

You can set the plugin.expose_full_path pref to true on the about:config page to see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page.
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:plugins
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers via the navigator.plugins object, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.
See "Manually uninstalling a plugin":
Many thanks , that did the trick and everything is now working OK, but strangely, when I look in the Plugins folder, both Flash versions are still there, versions 9 & 11. I don't know which version I'm using but whatever it is , it's working fine. Thanks again
Thank you for your reply; I used the information in the 1st reply that I got which solved my problem, but your information was very helpful. Thanks again.
