Want to revert Firefox 18.0.1 theme to [Default 18.0]
Before upgrading from 18.0 to 18.0.1, the Firefox theme listed under [Tools][Add-ons][Appearance] was called "Default 18.0" and was better than the default in 18.0.1. I want to restore the plain old default 18.0 theme, but I could not find it in the humongous collection of available themes. I do not want a fancy theme, just the old default for 18.0.

You can check for problems with the localstore.rdf file if you can't make changes to the toolbars.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

The theme didn't change at all between 18.0 and 18.0.1, the only things we changed were a few fixes for proxies and websites. You can reset Firefox if there is a problem, but the theme didn't change at all. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
The navigation bar DID change! It lost some valuable flexibility. Sorry about my wrong guess that this look-and-feel consideration was a "theme" matter; nothing else on the Firefox website looked remotely close.
Look at the [Home] icon/button at the right-hand end of the nav bar. Icon/buttons for extensions get added there. In 18.0, those icon/buttons could be dragged and dropped so as to be to the left of the URL and search areas. I could put whatever I often used in that more prominent part of the nav bar, in whatever order I liked. That flexibility is gone in 18.0.1.
The reset feature may be useful in the future, but it did not fix this problem.
