I did the setting where you "Show my windows and tabs from last time" in the options - it does not work

I also tried the debugging where you attempt to run it in safe mode - did not help - so now what? where am I suppose to go from here? where did my tabs go am I going to always lose my tabs?

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Browsing History

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

I do know about the clear history type thing - I do not use that - (I am not quite expert level but not quite a neophyte either) I have just recently moved from Chrome which was really messing with me, BTW this is my computer and it is never shared yet I wish to keep it secured in case anyone ever breaks into my home I don't want them to be able to log in and see anything.

so I do not do a clear history on a standard basis I do it selectively or when I am having trouble with sites .
