BBC iplayer will only show a black screen - works OK on IE, Chrome & Safari.
Recently I have been unable to play BBC iplayer files/programs. I have tried reinstalling Flash but with no success. I've checked that I can play iplayer files in Safari, Chrome and in Internet Explorer and all do so without any problem. What's the reason and what's the solution?

Why tell him to update when he has the latest version?
SOLVED PROBLEM BBC streaming, iPlayer etc. would not play & kept demanding latest version of flash when it's already got latest version. My prob was caused by having an OLD VERSION of Shockwave Flash as well as a new one in my Firefox Browser Add-Ons , once I had removed the old version and reinstalled lastest Flash prob was solved. I did have to manually remove the old Add-Ons Shockwave file. I can put detailed instructions here if anybody would like the full process. My old Shockwave file was located in a prog called "Lightspark" which I uninstalled from my PC.
Modified
That was a lot of work, well done.
Sometimes uninstalling programs leave things behind.
