Using LDAP server for autocomplete, need a way to make it use the "displayName" attribute as the name instead of whatever field it is currently using (CN?)

I'm using an Active Directory server for lookups in Thunderbird (in Preference/Composition/Edit Directories).

When addressing a new message, when it finds a match as a type it fills in the information with the template "CN <primary address>". I'd like it to use "displayName <primary address>".

I've tried setting the following, but they don't seem to have any effect ldap_2.servers.<dirname>.DisplayName ldap_2.servers.<dirname>.nameFormat ldap_2.servers.<dirname>.commentFormat

Any ideas?
