Why does Top Sites on Awesome Screen site every page visited.

When I go to a chat die, my medical records site or any site where I move between pages; every page at that site is listed on the Top Sites screen afterwards. History only shows the main page. Unlike History, I have to individually remove each page. This is time consuming and pertubating. History has a clear browsing history button, but not Top Sites. Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Clearing history should clear the top sites of everything but bookmarks.
