Is someone able to analyize my crash report please?
I hope to get some direction with FF crashes, I am getting between 10 & 20 crashes per month. Just recently it's gone crazy. I never get any response from crash reports submitted???

Type about:addons<Enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Plugins.
BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.
My issue at the moment is I can't find anywhere to update the actual plugin for Shockwave Flash for FF.
Update your Flash Player v15.0.0.189 http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Shockwave Director v12.1.3.153 http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
Ok, so this is where I am getting confused, my thinking was that the plugin was something FF developed to enable Adobe products to be compatible with the FF browser?? Is it correct that the Shockwave Flash plugin installs as a component of Adobe Flash Player??
There are two types of Add-ons. There are the Add-ons that you find and install. And there are also Plugins. These are from other programs that are on your system when Firefox starts. Like video players, anti-virus, and many more. You can disable normal Add-ons by going to the Add-ons Manager,
Type about:addons<Enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)
Select Extensions, locate the add-on. From here you can disable or remove it. Plugins, however, can only be set to Never or Ask. To remove it, you have to remove its program.
There is not two different type of Addons per say as the word Add-ons is a general term to group together the separate Extensions, Plugins, Themes (both complete and lightweight), and even dictionary and search engines. The word Add-ons started to be used during period of Firefox 2.0 and 3.0
Extensions and Themes are installed in Firefox while Plugins are installed on OS and Firefox makes use of them as to why there is only a deactivate/active which tells Firefox to make use of that Plugin or not.
Hi all, it has only been a couple of days but since disabling the Shockwave Flash plugin the aggressive FF crashes have stopped. If in time this continues to be the case what are my options to use FF as a normal browser. Any suggestions??
Alan.
I'm sorry I should have clarified my statement, seeing Adobe Shockwave Flash is causing my crashes what other flash players are compatible with mozilla that I could use??
I have not tried this, but take a look at it; Video WithOut Flash {web link} Watch videos without flash
Hi, I had a go at Video Without Flash & could not get it to work correctly, I read a lot of others have so I put it down to me.... I still have my Flash Plugin disabled & crashes have all but stopped. I did get one today & it doesn't appear to be Flash related.

Is FF that finicky that it is not compatible with third party program. I think not, millions use it without issue, why not me????
Alan.
