How to backup Firefox before I re-install OSX?

Hi all, I need to backup all of my Firefox bookmarks, and all of my settings to an external USB drive because I want to wipe my Mac Mini's HDD and re-install Yosemite.

How can I do this? I don't want to use Firefox Sync.
