HELP!!!

I use the same work email address as another person for work. Problem is...If I or he, do something to an in-coming/outgoing email (delete/archive/answer it)...the action will only happen on my laptop and not his, or visa-vera (i.e. If I archive an e-mail, it archives on my laptop, but may STILL show up as present (not archived) on his laptop. Or, I may have written an e-mail, and it doesn't show up as even being sent on his laptop...Why is this?? It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough. Can anyone help me with this??

You need IMAP email instead of POP to keep in sync across multiple devices.

Thank you. Yes, this would have been helpful, but we are already set up on IMAP, not POP. So how do I resolve the issue now?
