I want to block all advertisements on SKype. If I am told how to locate internet options settings on Firefox, I believe I can add the https://apps.skype.com to a restricted sites list.

Hi, Options (cog wheel) is in the 3-bar menu - unless you've moved it, but I think you really need an ad blocker add-on such as AdblockPlus.
